Essential Minecraft Tips for New Players – Explore ENDOS SMP

Welcome to ENDOS SMP! If you’re new to Minecraft or our community, this guide will help you understand the most important commands and features so you can enjoy your adventure from the very beginning.

Basic commands for beginners

Our server uses simple commands to make your experience smoother. The most important is /spawn, which brings you back to the main base whenever you need it.

Your first login

On your first login, you’ll receive a starter book with server rules, commands, and helpful tips. At Spawn, you’ll also find a portal that connects you to a Creative mode world where you can experiment freely.

General gameplay information

Spawn restrictions: Spawn is a protected area where blocks cannot be broken and PvP is disabled.
Regenerate health and hunger: Visit the main Spawn building or use /spawn to recover.
Set your home: Use /sethome or sleep in a bed. Teleport back with /home.
Teleport to friends: Use /tpa <player> to request teleportation.
Starter kit: Claim your first set of tools with /kit starter.
Return to last location: Use /back after death or teleporting.
Economy system: Check your balance with /balance or transfer money with /pay.
Explore randomly: Use /tprandom to teleport to a new adventure spot.

Claiming land to protect your builds

Make a claim: Place a chest or use /claim with a golden shovel to protect your area.
Abandon claims: Use /unclaim or /abandonclaim, or /abandonallclaims to clear all claims.
View claim borders: Right-click with a stick or use /claimslist to see claim areas.
Expand claims: Earn claim blocks over time and resize by right-clicking golden corners.
Escape traps: If trapped inside a claim, type /trapped.

Leveling up and earning perks

Progress in ENDOS SMP by completing in-game tasks:

Miner: Break 100 stones to unlock the Miner role.
Farmer: Plant 100 crops to become a Farmer.
Builder: Place 100 blocks to reach Builder status.

Server rules: Type /rules.
Message of the day: Type /motd.
General info: Type /info.
Command help: Type /help for a full list.
