Essential Tips for New Players

Welcome to ENDOS SMP! Here’s a brief guide to help you get started on our server.

Basic Commands

Our server requires some basic command knowledge, but don’t worry, you’ll pick it up quickly. The most important command is /spawn, which will bring you back to the base.

First Login

When you log in for the first time, you will receive a book with rules, tips, and commands. Additionally, there is a portal at Spawn (where you first appear or return via /spawn) that takes you to a Creative mode world.

General Information

• Spawn Restrictions: You cannot break blocks, engage in PvP, etc., at Spawn. Move beyond this area to start your adventure.
• Regenerate Health and Hunger: Head to the Spawn Main Building to regenerate. Use /spawn to return to Spawn.
• Setting Home: Use /sethome to set your spawn point or click on a bed. Use /home to teleport to your set home.
• Teleporting: Use /tpa <player> to teleport another player to your location.
• Starter Kit: Request the starter kit with /kit starter.
• Return to Last Location: Use /back to return to your last teleported location or where you last died.
• Economy: Check your balance with /balance and give others money with /pay.
• Random Teleport: Use /tprandom to teleport to a random location.

Claiming Land

• Claim Land: Use /claim, place a chest, or use your golden shovel to claim land.
• Abandon Claims: Use /unclaim or /abandonclaim while standing in a claim or /abandonallclaims to abandon all claimed land.
• View Claim Borders: Hold a stick and right-click within a claim to view borders marked with temporary Gold Blocks and Glowstone, or use /claimslist.
• Expand Claims: Use the claim blocks you earn over time or right-click one of the golden corners to resize your claim.
• Escape Traps: Use /trapped to escape if you’re trapped inside a claim.

Leveling Up and Getting Perks

• Miner: Break 100 stones to become a Miner.
• Farmer: Plant 100 crops to become a Farmer.
• Builder: Build 100 blocks to become a Builder.

Accessing Information

• Server Rules: Use /rules to read the server rules.
• Message of the Day: Use /motd to see the message of the day.
• Server Information: Use /info to get server information.
• Help: Use /help to see other available commands.
